Cats naturally seek height for resting, observing and retreating. Wall-mounted shelves and steps allow you to make use of vertical space and give your cat additional territory without taking up valuable floor space. 

Consider how your cat likes to rest, the space available and whether you want a standalone retreat or part of a larger climbing arrangement. Curved and wave-shaped shelves provide different lounging positions, while window shelves create an elevated place to rest and observe outdoors. Individual product pages include dimensions, orientation and maximum load to help you choose. 

On directional designs, Left and Right describe the orientation of the shelf’s shape. Check the product photographs carefully when planning your arrangement, particularly if combining several shelves or steps into a climbing route. 

This varies by design. The shelves in the Divine Pets collection are rated for maximum loads of up to 25kg or 40kg depending on the model when correctly installed. Always refer to the individual product page for the specified maximum load. 

Yes. Depending on the design, Cat’s Atelier pieces are available with a choice of upholstery and either wood finish or underside fabric. Where the design permits, these can be selected independently so you can create either a coordinated or contrasting finish. 

Yes. Cat’s Atelier shelf mattresses feature removable zippered fabric covers. Cat’s Atelier specifies that these can be machine washed at 30°C. The mattress itself is secured to the shelf with Velcro, allowing it to be removed when required. 

Replacement covers and complete mattresses are available for Cat’s Atelier shelves, allowing you to refresh a well-used shelf or change its appearance without replacing the complete piece. 

Cat’s Atelier shelves require secure installation to a wall capable of supporting both the shelf and the intended load. Fixing requirements will depend on the wall construction. Universal fixings are supplied with the products, but alternative specialist fixings may be required for some wall types. If you are unsure about your wall construction or suitable fixings, we recommend seeking professional installation advice. 

Cat’s Atelier designs use concealed mounting systems, allowing the shelves to appear to float against the wall and keeping the finished installation clean and architectural.

Keep jumps comfortable for your individual cat and make sure there is sufficient space to land securely on each surface.

Yes. Cat’s Atelier pieces are handmade to order in Poland, allowing you to select the available finishes for your chosen design. Deluxe also describes production as taking place in a family workshop with more than 30 years of woodworking heritage. 

Cat’s Atelier pieces are made to order in Poland according to your chosen finishes. Production typically takes several working days, with additional time required for delivery to the UK. As each piece is individually prepared, lead times can occasionally vary. We’ll keep you updated on the progress of your order and let you know once it has been dispatched. 

Cat’s Atelier pieces may be returned provided they are in their original condition and have not been installed or used. Customers are responsible for return postage. Bespoke or specially commissioned products made to an individual specification cannot be returned unless faulty. 

Yes. Cat’s Atelier provides a five-year warranty on the construction of its cat shelves, offering additional reassurance in the quality and durability of each piece.

Components subject to natural wear through use, including mattresses and covers, are excluded from the shelf construction warranty. Warranty periods may vary for other products within the collection, so please contact us if you would like to confirm the warranty applicable to a particular item.
